You bring the space. We bring everything else.

Listing is the easy part. The renters, the payments, the checks, and the awkward stuff if it ever comes up, are all on us.

We bring you the renters

We put your space in front of people searching nearby and send their requests straight to you.

We handle the money

Renters pay through us, and rent is released to you as each payment clears, with a weekly payout to your bank.

Every renter is ID verified

Nobody books without passing an ID check, so you always know exactly who you're saying yes to.

Booking, on your terms

Accept instantly or approve each request, set your own hours, price and rules. You choose who gets in and when.

If a booking goes wrong, that's our problem, not yours

Renters contract with Stashly, not with you. Every booking carries the renter's deposit plus up to $2,000 toward clearing the space if it ever comes to that.

  • You never chase anyone

If a renter defaults, we run the formal notice process. You do nothing.

  • Clearances are covered

A month's deposit plus up to $2,000 toward clearing the space. Never your bill.

  • You stay in control

Approve who stores with you, set your price, and take your space back with notice.

Free to list. Usually live within a day.

What your space is worth

Typical Toronto rates by space type. Stashly is new, so these are market rates rather than our own booking history.

Big enough for a car plus boxes, or two motorbikes and a workbench. The going rate around here is $200 to $300 a month, and it is the space renters ask for most.

Double garage

Etobicoke

A driveway takes an RV, a boat trailer or a work van. No building work, no permit, nothing to fit. Roughly $120 to $250 a month depending on how easily a trailer can turn in.

Driveway + container

Scarborough

Rural bays do best on winter boat and RV storage, which is a six to eight month booking rather than a rolling one. Priced by the foot, usually $250 upwards.

How it works

  1. List it, about ten minutes

Measure up, add a photo or two, and set your price. We'll suggest a rate based on what's renting nearby.

  2. We check it over

A quick review of your space. Usually live within a day.

  3. Get booked

If you offer self-access, renters can book outright. Otherwise you approve each request. Every renter is ID-verified before they can book anything.

  4. Get paid, monthly

Verify your ID once, then rent lands straight in your bank and you keep 100%. Stashly takes 0% from hosts, we make our money on the renter's side.

The questions hosts actually ask

What if a renter stops paying or leaves their things?+

That becomes our job, not yours. The renter contracts with Stashly, not with you. If they stop paying, we run the notice process, and the deposit plus a guarantee of up to $2,000 covers clearing the space. You keep the rent already collected and can rent it out again. You never chase anyone or handle someone else's belongings.

What does it cost me to list?+

Nothing. Listing is free and you keep 100% of the rent you set. Stashly makes its money on the renter's side, not yours.

Can I choose who stores with me?+

Yes. Offer self-access and renters can book outright, or keep approval on and you accept or decline each request based on what they want to store. Either way, every renter is ID-verified before they can book anything.

Do I need to arrange cover for a renter's belongings?+

No. A renter's belongings are theirs to look after, and they are prompted to arrange their own cover. For the building itself, it is worth checking your own property policy is happy with the space being used for storage.

How and when do I get paid?+

Rent releases to you as each renter payment clears, and lands in your bank with a weekly Friday payout, for as long as the booking runs. A renter's first payment is held for their legal 7 day cancellation window, then released. You can watch it all from your dashboard.

I rent my home, or my lease restricts it. Can I still list?+

Have a quick look at whether sub-letting is allowed first. Some leases and mortgages don't permit it, and it is a much easier conversation to have now than later.

How long until my space is live?+

Usually within a day. We give every new space a quick review, then you are live and bookable. You'll do a two-minute ID check before your first payout.
