Fees, in plain English
Commission free for hosts: you set the price, you keep every dollar of it. Renters pay one 12.5% service fee on top of rent, and that single fee runs the whole platform, guarantee included. There is no other charge, on either side.
If you're renting

- Deposit: One month's rent, returned within 10 days of moving out

What the fee actually covers
Payments, support, identity checks, and the host guarantee: running the formal notice process and paying to clear a space, up to $2,000, when a renter defaults. That last part is why the fee exists rather than being an optional extra. It is not insurance on anyone's belongings.
