Stashly

How Stashly keeps this safe

Renting a stranger's garage only works if nobody is left carrying a risk they didn't sign up for. So Stashly sits in the middle as the actual counterparty, not an introducer, with a proper contract on both sides. Here's what that means in practice, and what stays your job.

A flat Stashly protection fee is included in every booking. It funds the host guarantee and clearance below. It is not insurance on your belongings, you insure those yourself.

What Stashly handles

The host guarantee

Hosts get paid on the same date every month whether or not the renter has paid us. If someone falls into arrears we keep the host whole while we deal with it, up to three months.

If a renter abandons their belongings, we serve the formal notices, we book and pay for the clearance, and we account to the renter for anything the goods are sold for. The host is never asked to move a stranger's things or to fund it.

This is the reason spaces can be booked instantly. Take the risk off the host, and there's no reason for them to want to meet everybody first.

Your part

A real company on both sides of the deal

That's what turns two strangers and a garage into something you'd actually trust.
